I happen to have a Resolute Destro and I just inspected his interchangeable right arms – they simply have a short straight bolt at the end which can be pushed into the figure's torso and then removed by pulling applying quite an amount of force. Trouble is I have no idea how regular modern joes figures are constructed and if their arms can be simply pulled off – I searched the web for any info or pics but found none and I don't feel too tempted to just try and pull one of my figures' arm out lol.
I will try to look more into the info on new figures construction details, maybe on some custom-makers sites. Or maybe someone from JoeDios tried customizing the modern figures? Ask around :)
