With just your every day Jo Shmo the quality of the Stormtroopers went down big time. Just after the first few times Camo Armour is issued the number of lost and missing Troopers went up 200%. And that is not counting the number of friendly fire deaths and woundings caused by the Multi-Colored Armoured Units. By the time Endor happended the Empire could not risk the number of losts because of the less than stealler personel and just went with a basic flat Color for their Troops. White for the Stormtrooper Corps, Black for their Pilots and Fleet Crews, wtih Gery for the Officers and Army Troops. Then there were Red for the Imperal Guards and Black again for Vader's Officer Corp. Oh and White one more time for the 12 Grand Admerials. I get it why regular stormies are white and flashy - the psychological factor is an important element of their imposing image as the 'unstoppable forces of the mighty Empire' but those poor scouts in the Endor moon's forest? Weren't they there to, well, SCOUT? As in: provide _stealthy_ small and fast units? :P While the scout's armor had always been my favorite in terms of design, only the Kashyyyk camo troopers finally provided a logical and overall reasonable version of gear for this unit for me. Too bad the white scouts are chronologically set AFTER the Kashyyyk troopers so it seems that... the Empire kind of worsened, weakened, the design?
